Bolivia - Obtain Registro Unico Nacional/Carnet de Identidad (Identity) Card

You will have to go to the SEGIP offices in your area of residence to fill in the required documentation, pay the required fee, and set up an appointment to have your photo taken.
Pick up your Bolivia carnet when it is ready and ensure all the information it contains is correct.
Required DocumentsEdit
- Certificate Original Birth issued computerized management from 2007.
- Be accompanied Father, Mother or both who must submit their original and updated Certificate of Identity.
- In the absence of the father and the mother, the lower Identity Card can be made through (the) Tutor (a), relatives to the third degree of blood relationship, who must submit the original and photocopy form as documentation proving unmistakable kinship.
- In the case of children and abandoned teens, municipal, administrative, judicial authorities; Community Organizations and Directors of house host public or private, must submit the original and photocopy the appropriate documentation certifying their appointment, which will be pre compulsa SEGIP on file.
- Proof of bank deposit.
- Affidavit stating that the identity card never had two witnesses who must carry their identity card and signed to witness (Form Filling Affidavit SEGIP offices) is made.
