Procedure

1. Present your valid identity card along with your current driver's license.
2. Submit an application along with all other required documents.
3. Pay the application fee.

Required Documents

From "A" type driver's license to "B" or from "A" type driver's license to "C":

• Current driver's license
• Valid identity card
• Driving Skills certificate issued by school accredited by the SEGIP.
• Medical Certificate (type blood test, physical examination, visual and auditory) issued by Health Facilities accredited by the SEGIP-SEGELIC.
• Psychological certificate issued by Health Center accredited by the SEGIP.
• Transit Record Certificate.
• Proof of bank deposit for the cost of the service provided by the SEGIP-SEGELIC.

From "B" type driver's license to "C"  :

• Valid identity card
• Current driver's license
• Medical Certificate (Test Blood type, physical examination, visual, auditory) and Psychological Assessment Certificate issued by Health Facilities accredited by the SEGIP-SEGELIC.
• Driving Skills certificate issued by school accredited by the SEGIP-SEGELIC.
• Certified driving record.
• Proof of bank deposit for the cost of the service provided by the SEGIP-SEGELIC.

Eligibility

From "A" type driver's license to "B" or from "A" type driver's license to "C":

• Be over 23 years old and can present a valid identity card.
• Holds Professional category "A" for at least 2 years
• Holder of a valid driver's license.

From "B" type driver's license to "C"  :

• At least 23 years old
• Holder of a valid driver's license.

Fees
