ProcedureEdit

  • The “Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET)” is conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
  • There will be an official notification release by the respective board for STET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the STET.


Apply Online

  1. The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
  2. In the given home page, please click on the “Register” button to reach the “INITIAL REGISTRATION” page. Here, please click on the applicable checkbox for “Post(s) Applied For” option and complete the other page prompts as appropriate.
  3. Please enter the captcha at the given space as applicable. Please click on the checkbox for the “I accept terms…” declaration and then click on the “Submit and Continue” button to reach the “Registration – Step 1 Completed” page. Here, the details of application number and other information to access the login details will be provided. At the same time, an Email and SMS containing login details will be sent to the applicant’s registered email id and mobile number respectively.
  4. Now please click on the “Login To Continue” button at the bottom to reach the “CANDIDATE LOGIN” page. Please enter the login details as appropriate in the given prompts. Please enter the captcha at the given space as applicable and then click on the “Login” button to reach the dashboard page.
  5. Here, please complete the page prompts for the “PERSONAL INFORMATION” section. Once the required details are entered, please click on the checkbox for the declaration and click on the “Save & Continue” button to reach the “UPLOAD PHOTOGRAPH AND DOCUMENTS” section.
  6. Please upload photograph and signature at the prompted space as appropriate using the options as applicable and click on the “Save & Continue” button to reach the “PREVIEW” section.
  7. Please go through the preview of the application details and click on the checkbox for the declaration. Now please click on the “Continue to payment” button to reach the “PAYMENT INFORMATION” section.
  8. Please click onj the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the ‘Click to Pay” button to get a message popup. Please click on the “OK” button to reach the payment gateway page.
  9. Please process the payment gateway page as per the online payment option as applicable to complete the submission of application. Also, the online application form will be provided for the user to download or save for future use.
  10. This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

EligibilityEdit

  • The candidate should be the citizen of India.
  • The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
  • For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
  • Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
  • Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.
