Apply Online:

  1. To Apply for Agrochemicals License, the applicant has to make the application online via link
  2. Click on “Register” option under “Registration” tab on left side of the screen.
  3. Applicant will get user id and password.
  4. Applicant can login through the “Log in” option mentioned on the left side of the home screen.
  5. Click on “Apply online” mentioned on the home screen and choose “Seed/insecticide license application” option.
  6. In the new window, click on “Online services” and choose “Online New/renewal services insecticide” option.
  7. Fill the form with correct details.
  8. Upload the required documents as mentioned in “Required documents” section on this page.
  9. Pay fees as mentioned in “Fees” section on this page.
  10. Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
  11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  12. The authorities may conduct inspections of your facilities to ensure compliance with the regulations.
  13. If your application and facilities meet all the requirements, you will receive the agrochemicals license.
  14. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.


Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Agrochemicals License, the applicant must approach the state Department of Agriculture link
  2. Set up the appropriate business entity for your agrochemical venture, such as a private limited company, partnership, or sole proprietorship. Register your business with the relevant authorities.
  3. Ensure that you have the required infrastructure and facilities to carry out the manufacturing or distribution of agrochemicals. This includes land, buildings, equipment, and storage facilities.
  4. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  5. The applicant must fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  6. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  7. The applicant must attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  8. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  9. The applicant must pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  10. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  11. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  12. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  13. The authorities may conduct inspections of your facilities to ensure compliance with the regulations.
  14. If your application and facilities meet all the requirements, you will receive the agrochemicals license.
