Procedure

1. Retail and wholesale trade licenses are valid for a period of one year, and must be renew every year.
2. The applicant(s) (sole proprietorship or partnership) must present their original citizenship identity card at the CC/RTIO representative when renewing the retail or wholesale trade license.
3. The applicant(s) must also submit valid Tax Clearance Certificate for renewal of license from the concerned Regional Trade & Industry Office of the Ministry of Finance.
4. Pay all necessary fees.

Eligibility

Holders of retail trade license or wholesale trade license issued by the Regional Trade and Industry Offices of the Ministry of Economic Affairs or any Community Center under its jurisdiction.

Fees

The renewal fee for both retail trade license and wholesale trade license is same:

• Large scale retail or wholesale trade license: Nu. 10,000
• Medium scale retail or wholesale trade license: Nu. 5,000
• Small scale retail or wholesale trade license: Nu. 3,000

In addition the citizen must also pay Nu. 100 per license as license booklet cost at the time of renewal of license from RTIO/CC. The applicant must also pay for printing, scanning or photography charges if the service is availed from CC.

Do not forget to collect your receipt, you will need to present it when you collect your license.

Validity

Wholesale and trade licenses are valid for a period of one year.

Processing Time

It will take about one working day for your application to renew your retail or wholesale trade license to be processed, as long you have submitted all the required documents.
