ProcedureEdit

  1. Submit the completed application form for retail and wholesale trade (Form II). The promoter must affix a legal stamp on the license application form and sign on it.
  2. The applicant(s) (sole proprietorship or partnership) must present their original citizenship identity card at the CC/RTIO representative when applying for a wholesale trade license.
  3. The applicant(s) should have valid security clearance while applying for a wholesale trade license. It will be verified by the CC operator or RTIO online using the citizenship identity card of the applicant(s).
  4. The applicant must also submit a letter from the Principal Company for its appointment as a wholesale outlet.

Citizens of Bhutan, aged 18 and above.



FeesEdit

  • Large Scale: Nu. 10,100
  • Medium Scale: Nu. 5,100
  • Small Scale: Nu. 3,100

The applicant must also pay for printing, scanning or photography charges if the service is availed from CC.



ValidityEdit

Wholesale Trade Licenses are valid for a period of one year.
