ProcedureEdit

  1. You may apply for a water supply connection by submitting an application to your local Thromde. Forms are available at Engineering Division and Water Complaint Offices or you may also download the forms through your local Thromde's website (see links provided under 'Documents to Use' section).

  2. Submit the duly filled application form to the water supply section.
  3. Get a recommendation from the Building Section. Field verification will be conducted to check for the feasibility of the connection.
  4. The water Meter will be issued after the approval from Engineering Division and after paying the connection fee..
  5. The property owner will need to carry out the excavation of a trench up for water supply connection and accordingly lay down the pipe work after which, the private line will then be connected to the municipal's main line.
  6. The property owner will be the one responsible for the maintenance of the water meter after the installation.
  7. The Meter Chamber must be built according to the Standard Water Meter Chamber Drawing which can be collected from the office or can be downloaded from the Thromde's website. The meter shall be installed only when the meter chamber is ready.
