Procedure

Apply Online:

1. Visit Bermuda NIC website through this link: website
2. In the site link search box, type the domain name you wish to register and click on “Search”.
3. You will be directed to the next page where your domain name will be indicted, if its available for purchase and the price.
4. Click the "Add" button to the right of the name and that domain name will be added to your shopping cart. You can repeat the process to get additional names.
5. Click the shopping cart icon at the top of the page or the “Go to Cart” button to direct you to the next page.
6. In this page you will need to login or create an account by selecting “Start Here” and fill the requirements to create your account.
7. Once logged in, you will be automatically directed to the Checkout page, where you can view the items in your cart. Select “Continue.”
8. Type your credit card information. If you already have an account, you may select from a card you have used previously on the site.
9. Type your Credit Card Billing Address and then Click on the “Submit Oder” button
10. Once your payment is processed (which should take only a few minutes), you will see your order summary. This will confirm your domain name, product type, amount, and number of years for which your domain has been registered.
11. Then submit the required documents within 10 day for registration by axed to 441-296-5158, emailed to [email protected] or hand delivered or mailed to the :

Note: You may use your billing Address for your domain contact information or type your domain name contact information separately (domain contact information is an ICANN requirement for each domain purchase)

Required Documents

• Company or organization – copy of registration certificate or payroll tax receipt must be provided
• Charity – charity registration number must be provided
• Bermuda resident – proof of local residency, i.e. copy of utility bill or bank statement must be provided

Eligibility

• A domain name can be registered by a company, organization or charity that is registered to conduct business in Bermuda or a resident of Bermuda.

Fees

• Registration for a new domain is $ 100
• Renewal fee is $65 for a one year period

Validity

• Domain Name is subjected to renewal please contact the relevant authority for the validity period

• The Bermuda NIC Registrar is responsible for the administration of the .BM Domain.
• There is no restriction on the number of .BM ccTLD Domain Names that a single entity can register.
• The Domain Name .GOV.BM is reserved for the Government of Bermuda.
• The Domain Name .EDU.BM is reserved for valid local Educational Institutions.
