Bermuda - Apply for a Periodic Work Permit

Apply In-Person:
- Gather and prepare all the required documents for the application
- Obtain the Application form from the Immigration department or download it via this link:form
- Read the form carefully as it comprises of different sections and forms.
- Fill the application form and confirm that you have all the required documents as mentioned in Section 5 of the form.
- If the work permit falls within a job category where a statutory council must be consulted, print the Referral to Statutory Council Form in Section 7 and have it filled and the medical clearance from in Section 8
- Pay for the application fees and attach the receipt to the application form.
- Write an application letter addressed to the Department of Immigration justifying your request and attach the application form alongside the required documents.
- The ministry will verify your application and satisfactory results they will grant you the permit

InstructionsEdit
- Advertising for a Periodic Work Permit is not required;
- Periodic Work Permits may be granted for periods of one, two, three, four or five years;
- After arrival, if the holder of a Periodic Work Permit requires a stay longer than 30 days, the employer can apply for an extension of up to a further 30 days;
- The Periodic Work Permit holder shall not be in Bermuda for more than a total of 180 days per calendar year.
