How to Apply

  1. Applicant(s) should visit the Ministry of water,General Directorate of Water office, please view {office location and contact section below} for the address details.
  2. Express your interest to the MEM receptionist/ secretariat front desk and collect all the necessary application forms or directly download it via this link, Link {Request form}.
  3. Submit the completed form attached with the supporting documents {as listed below under required documents section} to the MEM secretariat to be recorded and registered.
  4. If the MEM secretariat is satisfied that all the documents are in order, you will be advised to pay the application fee at the cash counter, upon which you will be issued with an acknowledgment slip.
  5. Your file will then be forwarded to the department responsible, who will then send a laboratory team to the site, at the expenses of the applicant to collect the required samples.
  6. The sample will then be returned to the MEM laboratory for testing and analysis.
  7. The sample analysis result will then be sent to the applicant either under close envelope or by mail provided by the applicant in 3 working days.

  • Valid identification document
  • Environmental impact study report validated by the authorities competent.
  • A sample request to the Departmental Directors of Water and Mines.
  • A completed water withdrawal request form.
  • A sheet of the in-site characteristics of the sample.
