How to Apply
- You should head to the general management of taxes office, estate service cashier and purchase the tax stamp from the cashier at a cost of 1000 CFA. - Then head to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce office, Regulatory and Litigation Department;
- Collect necessary forms and accurately fill them;
- Make all necessary payment for the processing of the card at the cashier desk, upon which you will be issued with payment receipt.
- Attach all the required documents (listed below under required documents section); and
- Submit the application file to be verified and recorded by the staff.
- The attending staff will then take your biometric information (fingerprints) and then issue you a received treasure slip.
- The application file will then be forwarded to the Regulatory and Litigation office for further assessment, approval and signing.
- After processing which is with 2-4 days the dealer’s card will be made available to be issued to the applicant at the Regulatory and Litigation office front desk.
- Re- visit the office with your National identity card and the received treasure slip and claim the renewed dealer card.
Note:
The original supporting documents will be issued back to the applicant at the end of the application process.

- IFU registration certificate {original + copy}
- 2 recent Coloured photo ID.
- 3-flip cardboard folder
- Extract from the trade register and movable property credit {original + copy}
- Receipt of payment of CCIB contributions for the current year (original + simple copy)
- Receipt of payment of contributions to the CNSS for the current year (original + simple copy)
- IS or IRRP receipt for the current year (original + simple copy)
- License certificate for the current year (original + simple copy)
- Old merchant card (original)
Note
- You can provide the GST payment receipt in lieu of the IS, IRPP and business tax receipt, as it takes both into account.

- Dealer card is issued to trading companies by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, so as to regulate the trading activities of products in the Republic of Benin and also to ensure that the products are of the required standards.
