How to Apply:
In Benin Application

  1. Contact the Ministry of Interior & Public Security Department National Directorate of Interpretation and Translation office for more information.
  2. Visit the ministry office and express your interest at the service desk, you will then be issued with an application form.
  3. Submit the completed form and the document(s) that you need translated to the attending official for verification and processing.
  4. Pay the service fees, you will then be issued a with a receipt/acknowledgement slip and you will be notified when you should re-visit the office to collect the documents.

Abroad application:

  1. Visit the Benin embassy or consulate near you with all the required documents (listed below) and obtain the application form or download the form from the embassy website if available.
  2. Submit the completed form and the document (s) (listed below) to the attending official for verification and processing.
  3. Pay the service fees.
  4. You will then be issued a with a receipt/acknowledgement slip and you will be notified when you should re-visit the office to collect the documents.
  5. In some embassy they offer postage services and the certificate will be sent to you thus you will be required to Provide an envelope with sufficient postage so that they can send back your file in sealed conditions with acknowledgement of receipt.

  • Technical documents (diplomas, driving license, letter of recommendation, certificate of diplomas, authentic passport, legal documents, importer card, transcripts, certificate of education, CV, criminal record, declaration under oath, medical documents etc.)
