How to Apply
- Payment of the first deposit
- You should head to the Small Business Tax Center office, please view {office location and contact section below} for the address details and submit the validated financial statements to the manager to be verified and obtain a liquidation slip. {note, Liquidation is calculated on the basis of the financial statements for year N-1}.
- Then go to the signing office, at this stage you will be issued with a form {clearance forms} to fill out, on which you mention the amount you wish to pay and then submit them to the signing agent who will then issue you with the CIPE N1 imputation/charge sheets. However, this step is optional, when the taxpayer wants to settle his deposit.
- Then head to the CIPE N1 IT Unit and submit the {clearance sheet, CIPE N1 charge sheets} to the IT Cell agent who will then indicate the amount to be paid for the license in the system and then issue back the documents to you. {Note; the license fee is payable in two instalments i.e., the first instalment before the end of January and the second before the end of April}
- If you wish to deposit the first license fee instalment, head to the CIPE Box N1 section and submit the {clearance sheet, CIPE N1 charge sheets} to the cashier, who will then verify the amount that is to be paid in the system and advise you to pay against it and issue you a payment receipt {CIPE} and the documents back.

- Before the expiry time fame on which you are required to complete the second instalment payment plan, head back to the Small Business Tax Center office with the Receipt {CIPE} for payment of the 1st deposit (original) and if you have already received the tax notice documents you should come with them too and submit them to the signing office to be verified by the signing agent and obtain the CIPE N1 imputation/charge sheets.
- Then head to the CIPE N1 IT Unit and submit the following documents {CIPE N1 charge sheets, Receipt {CIPE} of the 1st instalment} to the IT Cell agent who then records the data from the charge sheets into the database and transmit to the cashier section to enable the payment process. The IT agent will then issue back the documents file to you.
- Then head to the CIPE Box N1 section and submit the document file to the cashier, who will then verify the amount that is to be paid in the system and advise you to pay against it and issue you a payment receipt {CIPE} and the documents file back.

- You should then head to the accounting department at the Small Business Tax Center office and submit the financial statements (original + 4 plain copies) to the agent for processing. {Note; Financial statements for year N-1 are filed by April 30 of the current year at the latest.}
- the processing period of the documents is within 1-3 working days, head back to the account office and obtain the validated financial statements and notice of collection against your National ID card. {Note; The collection notice represents the balance payable after deducting from the total amount the amount that was paid in the first two instalments.}
- Then head to the CIPE Box N1 section and submit the collection notice document to the cashier to be verify, you will then be advised to pay for the license fee, which is payable in two instalments i.e. {The first before the end of January and the second before the end of April}, upon completing payment of the required fees you will be issued with the license.
