  3. The applicant then collects all documents needed .
  4. The applicant then books Book an appointment at the Embassy
  5. The applicant then brings documents and Visa fee receipt on the date of your appointment.
  6. If satisfied the officials at the embassy or consulate issue a Benin Business Visa.

Visas are obtained from the Embassy or consulates of Benin or at the immigrations and emigrations department of Benin. A Benin business visa gives permission to foreigners to partake in short term commerce in Benin.

All travellers must hold a visa except the following:

1. Citizens of Benin.

2. Travellers staying for no more than three months provided they are:

2.1. Citizens of Algeria, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde Islands, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo (Brazzaville), Cote d'Ivoire, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Romania, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa and Togo.

2.2. Travellers with Chinese Taipei passports.

2.3. Travellers with normal passports issued to Citizens of People's Republic of China, except if they have passports issued by Hong Kong (A Special Administrative Region of China).

2.4. Travellers with diplomatic passports issued to Citizens of People's Republic of China.

2.5. Citizens of Israel with United Nations diplomatic passports who are travelling on duty.

3. Travellers staying for no more than two weeks provided they are:

3.1. Travellers with passports issued by Hong Kong (A Special Administrative Region of China).

4. Citizens of Cuba with service or diplomatic passports.

5. Citizens of Cuba with normal passports, travelling as relatives or as servants of Cuban service or holders of diplomatic passports.

6. Travellers with a return permit issued by Benin.

7. Travellers with travel documents issued to refugees and people without nationality or citizenship.
