How to Apply:

  1. You should visit the the CAISSE National security social (CNSS) agency office located in Akpakpa for more information.
  2. Approach the services desk and request for assistance from the supporting staff.
  3. Submit the required documents (listed below) to the authorized official for verification and processing.
  4. The CNSS benefit department will then carry out an investigation on your application, and if they are satisfied that all the document submitted are authentic, your application will then be approved within 30 days.
  5. You will be notified of the responses by the office and given further instruction.

  • Insurance booklet
  • Work certificate
  • Child life and care certificate
  • Copy of Certificate of education for children over 6 years old
  • copy of the apprenticeship contract for children from 14 to 18 years old
  • Medical certificate for each child who is disabled or has an incurable disease of school age
  • A periodic medical certificate for each child under the age of 6 (visits can be made in the CNSS CMS at Regional Agencies)
  • Any other document that may be requested by the authority.

EligibilityEdit

Applicant should meet the following criteria

  • Have worked 18 days or 120 hours per month and received at least the minimum wage
  • Have dependent children aged 0 to 21 maximums.
  • The number of children eligible for family allowances is fixed at 6 at most, but gradually replaceable in the event of majority or death

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • The family allowance Benefits are issued to children who are registered as beneficiaries of the CNSS pension Scheme by their parent who is a CNSS member.
  • Family allowances are paid in arrears and per quarter at the rate of 2000 FCFA per month and per child.
