Applying process in Belgium.

- PCC can be applied at Federal Public Service - Justice.

- Application forms can be obtained from the respective office or can be downloaded from this link: Criminal record extract
- Go to the respective office. Don’t forget to take the required copy of documents along with originals to the office.
- Please follow as per authorities guidelines and submit the completed application along with documents. Applicant should pay for any charges if required as advised.
- This application will be processed by respective department.
- The certificate can be collected from the office where applicant applied in person or will be delivered through mail upon notification or issued as per norms.

- Applicant has to apply with the Federal Public Service Justice to obtain the PCC through mail(post)/fax/email.
- Applicant has to fill the application form as obtained from the following link.: Criminal record extract
- Once the application is filled in, please attach the completed application, required document and fee paid details.
- Mail(post) these set of documents to the address provided below.
- This application received will be processed by respective department.
- The certificate will be delivered to the applicant as per norms.

- A copy of your passport while living in Belgium.
- A copy of your permit of stay in Belgium, passport number and place of issue as well.
- Proofs of legal stay (copy of passport held during the said period with respective stamp and seal).

EligibilityEdit
- Applicant with valid passport and a valid address proof.
- Age: 16 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 16 years.
- The current address of the applicant must be same as in the passport and other supporting documents.
- Applicants who are in need of residential status, employment or long term visa or for immigration to a foreign nation.

InstructionsEdit
- You need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence.
- To obtain a Belgian copy of a criminal record (extrait de casier judiciaire/uittreksel uit het strafregister), you need to send a personal written request by mail or fax to Federal Public Service Justice.
- You must sign the request and include the required informations.
- It is preferable, but not mandatory, to attach a copy of your identity card or passport.
- The Federal Public Service Justice will supply a copy of the record free of charge.
