Procedure

1. Submit all the necessary documents at the citizenship and migration of the internal residence in your area
2. The officer in charge will determine whether you meet all the requirements and accept or denies your application
3. If the applicant does not reside in Belarus they may apply in appropriate diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Belarus in the country they reside

Processing Time

14 days after filing the application - in the case of adoption (adoption), guardianship or custody of the minor permanently resident outside the Republic of Belarus Belarusian citizen, foreign citizen or a stateless person;

2 months from the date of application - in other cases.

Instructions

Citizens, who left a residence for study within the Republic of Belarus, submit documents to the department of Citizenship and Migration at the place of residence or stay (with a certificate of registration by place of residence).

Reception of documents from citizens living in homes served by organizations engaged in operation of housing, made by persons authorized to conduct passport work.

Reception of documents from citizens living in settlements that do not have the citizenship and migration offices will be carried out by persons authorized by village, settlement executive committees.

Reception of documents from citizens without residence registration, and the reasons for such registration, provided the citizenship and migration at the place last residence registration citizen.

Need for the Document

A Belarus passport is issued to citizens of Belarus and is used for both external and internal travel.

Passports are issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belarus and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to citizens who live abroad.
