Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The applicant has to submit proof of birth to the Registrar General's Department's Birth Section (hospital letter, clinic card, school letter, baptism certificate, or, in some situations, a Voter's Card).
2. Visit the following link for Contact Details: Contact Link.
3. Following the submission of the form, the birth registration section will conduct a search for the birth.
4. A numbered "Pink Card" is provided if the birth is not found. This card indicates that there was no record of the registration.
