Apply In-Person:
- To Hire a Paid Police Officer for Private Events, the applicant has to visit any nearest office of the Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) in his/her state of residence.
- The address and contact details of police offices across the country can be found in the following link address details
- Visit the office and deliver your request to the Police Staff Association.
- Depending on size, scope, and event history, applicants may be requested to meet with the officer in charge of event to provide additional information or provide clarification regarding the application.
Note:
- All requests to the RBPF for assistance at pre-planned special events must be made thirty (30) days in advance of the event.
- In exigent circumstances where only minimal planning is required, applications may be received within thirty (30) days of the event.

Special events policing requests are applicable to private, for-profit events as well as for charitable events.
FeesEdit
- Depending on the specific event, there may be a cost to event organizers.
- The rates charged will be those in effect at the time of the event booking.Note: any cancellations/changes require 36 hours advance notice to avoid minimum charges.
