Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for a Post Office Box Rental in person, the applicant has to visit any nearest office of the Post Office Department in his/her state of residence. The address and contact details of branch offices can be found in the following Bank/Post Box Rental Service
2. Visit the office and get an application form for Post Office Box Rental.
3. Complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections.
4. Then, submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office.

Eligibility

Anyone can apply for a new post office box.

Fees

• Annual requests for new post office box rentals are available online at the following rates, including VAT:
  • Small – $33.60
  • Medium – $56.00
  • Large – $88.60
• Large post box renewals paid past February 1st of the renewal year will incur a late fee of $10.

Validity

The PO Box requires annual renewal.
