Apply In-Person

  1. The applicant has to submit an application form to the Division of Youth.
  2. Visit the following link for Contact Details:Link.
  3. Family island Organisations must submit form to the Family Island Administrator or Island Coordinator.
  4. The Applicant can download the Form from the following Form Link.
  5. Complete the application form with all details.
  6. After filling in all the details submit the Application Form along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section to the Division of Youth.
  7. The Division of Youth will acknowledge receipt of the Youth Organization Grant application in writing.
  8. The Division will analyse the application to ensure that the applicant meets the Youth Grant Policy's eligibility requirements.
  9. New youth organisations may be required to meet with a ministry official to discuss their application and their goals.
  10. Applicant shall be notified in writing of their acceptance or denial.
  11. Once the grant is accepted, the applicant must present picture identification to the Division of Youth to collect the cheque.

EligibilityEdit

  • For a period of at least one year, the organisation must be registered with the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture.
  • All registration and reporting data must be current and accurate.
  • Demonstrated an active engagement with the ministry through support and participation in national meetings, training, activities, and celebrations, particularly the National Youth Month of the Ministry.
  • You must not have gotten a grant this year.
  • Must fall into one of the age categories established by the ministry's mission.
