Apply Online
- To apply for “National Technical Scholarship” the applicant has to register Online.
- Click on the following link to register Online: Link.
- On the top right side of the page click on “Apply” tab.
- The page will be redirected to a “Sign Up” Page and click on the tab “Sign Up”.
- The applicant has to provide an email address and password to sign up for an account.
- After signing up, the applicant will receive a confirmation email.
- The Applicant must click on the confirmation link to confirmed their account
- Now the applicant can begin accessing the system for online application.
- The Applicant must compete the application form and submit with the required documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section, before 30th of April.
- The applicant must not skip any details; as Incomplete documents will not be considered by the National Scholarship Committee.
- The applicant will be notified about the decision of the National Scholarship Committee by telephone, e-mail or post.

Required DocumentsEdit
- Copies of relevant examination certificates and test scores (AA, GCE, BGCSE, SAT, etc.)
- Two letters of reference: one from a high school teacher/lecturer or an employer and one from a community leader
- A copy of the acceptance letter
- Official up-to-date transcripts from high school(s), and or University of The Bahamas or other institutions
- A copy of the first four pages of your passport or certificate of citizenship
- A copy of your valid National Insurance Card
- A brief statement of no more than 150 words outlining your career plans, intension to return to The Bahamas and the contribution you would like to make after completing your programme of technical training.
- Proof of Parent/Guardian income (letter of employment from both parents/guardians or salary slip)
- Certificate of medical fitness

EligibilityEdit
- The applicant must be a Bahamian citizen, a Bahamas resident, and of good moral character.
- To be considered for the National Technical Scholarship, you must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (or equivalent).
- Financial Need: A review of the family's earnings, as well as any additional awards, scholarships, or loans
- Demonstrate leadership characteristics and make a positive impact to the school and community
- Acceptance in an approved accredited institution pursuing an approved course of study.
- Must not be in possession of another Ministry of Education award/scholarship at the time of application
- Pursue a minimum of 12 credits per semester
FeesEdit
No processing fees.
ValidityEdit
Poor performance, failure to enrol, inability to carry full course loads, bad behaviour, or any other reason acceptable to the National Scholarship Committee may result in the termination of the Scholarship at any time.
