Apply In-Person
- If the applicant is the owner of the property, the following forms must be completed and submitted to the Real Property Tax Valuation Unit:
- Property Tax Application Assessment form
- A Declaration of Real Property Tax form.
- Visit the following Contact Details Link.
- The applicant can download the form from the following Form Link 1 , Form Link 2
- In the case of owner-occupied properties, the owner must also fill out an Affirmation form in order to qualify for tax exemptions in the section where they live. Form Link.
- The Unit then conducts a field visit to acquire information about the property.
- The information gathered will be used by the office to estimate the property's worth and calculate the real property tax liability.
- The Unit will then either write the owner to notify them of the tax liability or prepare and issue a tax bill.
- The owner is welcome to inspect the object and can begin the procedure by visiting the office.
- Once the bill is produced, it is due and payable. If bills are not paid by December 31st of the current year, penalties are imposed.
- The Real Property Tax office is where property owners may pay their property taxes.
- The office will give a receipt once payment has been made.
