Apply In-Person
- The Applicant has to submit an application form to the Department of Labour.
- The Applicant can collect the application form at the Department of Labour office on your island. Please call (242) 302-2550 thru to 302-2562 for more information.

- The Applicant can also download the Form from the following link Form Link.
- The Applicant should mention his name and ‘Apprenticeship Application’ on the envelope.
- The Applicant from the Family Islands can collect the application form from the Department of Labour office on their island. Contact (242) 302-2550- 302-2562 for more information.
- The Applicant can download the Form from the following Form Link.
- Complete the application form with all details.
- After filling in all the details submit the Application Form along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section to the Department of Labour.
- The Applicant should also email the copy of the documents to [email protected] with the subject line “Apprenticeship Application”.
Apply Online
- The Applicant can click the below link to apply online. Online Applicant Link.
- Complete the application form.
- At the end of the page click “Save” to save.
- Save the form as a PDF file with the name of the applicant in the file name, for example, “APPLICATION FOR AN APPRENTICESHIP WITH JOHN SMITH”.
- With the subject line ‘Apprenticeship Application,' email the completed form and a copy of the needed documents to [email protected].
Required DocumentsEdit
The below documents are required to apply for the Bahamas Apprenticeship Program’s Apprenticeship Program or Pre-Apprenticeship Program:
Bahamians must provide one of the following:
- Valid E-Passport
- Voter’s card/affidavit
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of Identity
Non-Bahamians must provide one of the following:
- Belonger’s permit from the Department of Immigration
- Proof of permanent residency
All applicants must provide:
- National Insurance Board (NIB) smart card
- Primary, junior high or senior high school transcripts
- Current police record

ValidityEdit
Applications for the Apprenticeship Program and for the Pre-Apprenticeship Program are received on a rolling basis. Application deadlines and cohort start dates vary.
