Apply In-Person:
- To apply for License to Import Bananas in person, the applicant has to visit the Department of Agriculture in his/her state of residence.
- The address and contact details can be found in the “Office Location & Contacts” section.
- Visit the office and get an application form for License to Import Bananas from the relevant authority. Or it can be downloaded from here
- Applicant fills out an Application to Import Goods Form (Bananas)
- Applicant pays the relevant fees.
- After approval, the applicant is issued with the Permit.
- Applicant submits the Permit to an Agricultural Officer and Customs Officer at the port of entry.
- Note: Family Island residents should apply to the resident Extension Officers (where applicable) or the Family Island Administrator for this service.

- For persons outside of The Bahamas, a money order or draft can be sent via courier service.
- Personal cheques will not be accepted.

InstructionsEdit
- This Licence must be presented to the Agriculture Inspector and Bahamas Customs at the Port of Entry.
- This form must be completed in quadruple (a set of four (4)).
- The Phytosanitary Certificate/Food Safety Certificate of the country of export must accompany the shipment.
