Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The Applicant has to submit an application to the Ministry of Tourism, The Bahamas. Contact Link
2. The Applicant can obtain the Form from the office.
3. Complete the application form with all details.
4. After filling in all the details, submit the Application Form along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section to the Ministry of Tourism.
5. On Approval, the applicant will be able to get duty free entry of approved construction materials, furnishings and fixtures for hotel development as well as provides for exemption/concession from real property taxes for the first twenty years of operation of a hotel resort.
