Bahamas - Apply for Domestic Health Visa

Apply Online:
- To apply for your Domestic Travel Health Visa, first you'll need to create a profile on the official website of Bahamas Travel Health Site Link to Website
- Click here to create your profile: Link to log-in
- Provide your E-mail id and a password and click on the “Continue” button.
- Provide the following details and upload passport photo and information page. Then click on “Continue”.
- Bahamas Immigration Status
- Nationality
- Travel document type
- Passport number
- Expiration date
- Provide your “Personal Information” in the next page and click on “Continue” again.
- Provide “Permanent Address” details in the next page and click on the “Continue” button.
- In the next page, click on the relevant “Health Conditions” check boxes which apply to you and then click “Continue”.
- In the final page, enter you “Emergency Contact” details and click on the “Submit” button.
- Note: Dependents 17 years or younger are required to be added to the parent or guardian profile.
- After your profile is created, you'll be taken to the “Dashboard”, where you need to add a trip with travel details and RT-PCR test results or Vaccination Card.
- Click on the “+Add Trip” tab and select the “Domestic” icon in the next page.
- Enter your travel details in your Domestic Travel Application.
- If you are departing from an island requiring a RT PCR test or full vaccination for travel per the Emergency Order, select the file type that is applicable to you under ‘‘COVID -19 Vaccine or RT PCR Test Information’’.
- Or, if you are exempted from the entry requirements, select the exemption type that is applicable to you, uploading the supporting documents.
- When you have completed the information required, select “Submit”
- Note: If you are travelling with children, be sure to complete one travel application per child by selecting the child’s name under “Who’s traveling?”
- Once complete, your trip will appear on your profile dashboard under “Upcoming trips”.
- You will receive an email confirmation that your application was successfully submitted. Please check your travel profile and email for updates.
- Once the compliance unit has verified your RT-PCR test or vaccine certificate, travel documents and trip details, you will receive an application processed email.
- Once your application has been processed, payment will be required.
- To make payment, go to your travel profile, click on the corresponding trip, and then click “Pay Now”.
- You will be redirected to the Kanoo website for payment, and redirected back to your Bahamas Travel Health Visa Profile Dashboard once complete. The Health Visa payment will appear on your bank statement as ‘’Kanoo Pays’’.
- Once payment is made, your trip status will display as ‘’Approved’’.
- To view your Approved Travel Health Visa, select the trip, and click ‘’Open travel health visa PDF’’.
- You will now be able to download your Travel Health Visa.
- Please save, screenshot or print your Travel Health Visa. It is required for airline verification, immigration entry, and Day-5 testing in The Bahamas.
Note:
- Fully vaccinated travellers will be required to upload valid Proof of vaccination. Proof of vaccination must confirm they have passed the two-week immunity period.
- Unvaccinated travellers will be required to upload their negative COVID-19 PCR test results. Tests must be taken no more than 5 days prior to the date of arrival.
