Apply In-Person
- The Applicant has to submit an application to the Port Department, Prince George Wharf, P.O. Box N-8175, Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas. Contact Link
- The Applicant can download the Form from the following Form Link
- Complete the application form with all details.
- After filling in all the details, submit the Application Form along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section to the Port Department.
- The Port Department will prepare an inspection schedule of all registered vessels.
- The Port Department can conduct the inspection at any time without notice.
- After the inspection, a copy of the report will be given to the captain.
- The report may indicate areas for improvement.
- Then, the captain is obligated to address the issues highlighted within the stipulated timeframe.

No processing fee is required for this service.

The application is valid until the inspection process is completed.
