Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The Applicant has to approach the Civil Aviation Department.
2. Visit the following link for Contact Details Contact Link.
3. Visit the office to obtain the application form.
4. Complete the application form with all details.
5. After filling all the details, submit the Application Form along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section to the Civil Aviation Department along with the corresponding fee.
6. The Process takes between one to two weeks to complete depending on the duration of the investigation.
7. Once approved, the applicant will be informed through the proper communication channel.
8. The applicant should then visit the office to collect the certificate.
9. Then, the holder of AMO certificate must prominently display that certificate in a place accessible to the public in the principal business office of the AMO.

It is required for seeking approval for maintenance organization. A certificated approved maintenance organization may perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, or modifications on an aircraft, airframe, aircraft engine, propeller, appliance, component, or part thereof only for which it is rating and within the limitations placed in its specific operating limitations.
