This procedure explains various ways to Apply for Travel Agency Accreditation by Bureau of Immigration in Bacoor.
In Philippines, a travel agency or a liaison officer of a travel agency can be accredited by Bureau of Immigration (BI). Please follow the below guide to apply for Travel Agency Accreditation by BI:
- Prepare the requirements Refer link:
- For Travel Agency:
- Letter request addressed to the Commissioner for the accreditation of travel agency
- Department of Tourism Certificate of Accreditation.
- For Corporations or Partnerships: Machine – validated Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Certificate of Registration; Articles of Incorporation; General Information Sheet (GIS) for the current year stamped received by the SEC;
- For Single Proprietorships: Photocopy of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Certificate of Registration of Business Name.
- Current Mayor’s Permit and Business License.
- Photocopy of latest Income Tax Return (ITR) with the corresponding proof of payment (official receipt, bank teller’s validation on slip, BIR’s eFPS payment details’ print-out or other similar evidence);
- Official receipt of the CASH BOND of Php 100000 or GSIS SURETY BOND with PTAA or NAITAS Endorsement or Certificate of Membership
- Affidavit of Undertaking by manager/owner/CEO/President that he/she does not have any relative working with the Bureau within the 3rd civil degree of consanguinity or affinity;
- Specimen signatures of the president or duly authorized officer of the travel agency;
- Proof of ownership of the office or Contract of Lease; and
- Proof of Billing reflecting office name and address or authority from the registered payer to use the same as proof of billing.
- Letter request addressed to the Commissioner for the accreditation of travel agency
- For Liaison officer of Travel Agency:
- Letter request addressed to the Commissioner by travel agency for the accreditation of authorized liaison officer
- Duly accomplished accreditation application form - BI Form 2014-03-006 Rev 0
- Contract of Employment/Appointment letter/Certificate of Employment stating the date of employment, salary, term and job description;
- Valid National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance;
- Valid Philippine National Police (PNP) Clearance
- Affidavit of Undertaking of the liaison officer that he/she does not have any relative working with the Bureau within the 3rd civil degree of consanguinity or affinity;
- Photocopy of company-issued ID.
- Specimen signatures of the liaison officer.
- Seminar Training Certificate.
- Letter request addressed to the Commissioner by travel agency for the accreditation of authorized liaison officer
- For Travel Agency:
- Apply for Travel Agency Accreditation by BI.
- Visit the BI Main Office Map, if you did not fully understand about the required documents, you can get help from the Public Information and Assistance Unit (PIAU) at BI G/F Main Office.
- You can submit the required documents for pre-screening to the Central Receiving Unit (CRU). Please follow the officer’s guide to claim your assessment number and get Order of Payment Slip (OPS) of Accreditation Fee and Cash Bond from the Office of BI Accreditation Unit, Rm. 202-204 2nd Floor, BI Main Office.
- Please proceed to Window 14 or 15 to pay Accreditation Fee and Cash Bond. Now you can complete and submit the application form and present the requirements as stated in the Checklist and the Official Receipts (O.R.) to BI Accreditation Unit (Room 204).
