This procedure explains various ways to Apply for Senior Citizen ID Card in Bacolod.

Apply In-PersonEdit

  1. Applications for Senior Citizens IDs are often processed in person. The applicant or his/her representative are required to submit an application at their local Office of the Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA) which is usually located within the city hall or municipal hall. Applications may also be submitted at your local barangay.
  2. Ask your local OSCA or barangay official for an application form. Some government offices made the form available for download through their website. You can do a quick search online to see if you can download and complete the application form ahead of your visit. Note: Use link provided under 'Office Locations & Contacts' section to search for your local government's contact information and website.
  3. Submit the completed form to OSCA / barangay together with your birth certificate or any public document that can prove your age and Filipino citizenship. You will also need to present a valid ID as proof of your residency and /or two (2) proofs of billing or mails under your name. The OSCA may also ask you to present other documents in case you don't have some of the documents earlier mentioned.
  4. The amount of time it takes to process a Senior Citizen ID Card depends per municipality or city but you will usually get it on the same day.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Duly accomplished application form issued by the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA).
  • Recent 1" x 1" ID photograph
  • Birth certificate or any public document indicating the applicant’s age and Filipino citizenship.
  • Valid ID that can be presented as proof of residency and/or two (2) proofs of billing or mails under the applicant's name.
Your local OSCA may ask for other documents to be presented in case you are unable to provide some of the required documents.
