Apply Online

  1. To apply for a Phytosanitary Certificate, Applicant shall approach the Austrian Federal office for Food Safety. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section.
  2. You have to submit an Application form to theFederal office for Food Safety by email.
  3. Application form can be found on the following link:Link
  4. Click on the second link to download the application form in word document, and on the third link to download it in pdf and fill up your details.
  5. Please make sure you have all the required documents that are listed under the Required Document” section of this page.
  6. The applicant shall email the duly filled application form and documents to the Federal office for Food Safety. Contact details are listed below under the “office locations and contacts” section
  7. After the application is processed, The Inspector visits the Applicant’s premises and inspects the shipment destined for export.
  8. Once the inspection yields satisfactory results, the inspector issues a Phytosanitary Certificate.
