Apply online:

  1. To Apply for the Practice Incentives Program (PIP), the applicant has to make the application online via Service Australia on the official website given below link
  2. The applicant has to click the “log on using PRODA”.
  3. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “Register now” button.
  4. The applicant has to click the “Create Account” button.
  5. Enter all the necessary details and click the “Next” button.
  6. Also, attach the required documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  7. And complete the match process, once completed click the “Login” button.
  8. Enter the user name and password and then click the “Login” button.
  9. The applicant has to enter all the details in the form.
  10. Upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  11. There is no fee for Practice Incentives Program (PIP).
  12. After completing, the applicant has to click the “Submit” button.
  13. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  14. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  15. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  16. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.


Apply through fax

  1. To Apply for the Practice Incentives Program (PIP), the applicant has to approach Service Australia link
    NOTE: Enter the postcode and click the “Locate” button to find the nearest office.
  2. The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. There is no fee for Practice Incentives Program (PIP).
  8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  12. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

EligibilityEdit

To be eligible for the PIP, the applicant practice must:

  • be a general practice as defined by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)
  • be an open practice as defined by the PIP
  • be accredited, or registered for accreditation, against the RACGP Standards for general practices (the Standards)
  • have public liability insurance cover
  • have professional indemnity insurance cover for all general practitioners and nurse practitioners.
