Procedure

Apply Online

1. To Apply for Temporary Nursing License, the applicant has to make the application online via link
2. The applicant has to click the “Start online application”
3. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “I don’t have a login” button.
4. The applicant has to enter all the registration details and click the “Next” button.
5. Create a password and click the “Register” button.
6. Now the applicant has to login with the username, Date of Birth and password and click “Log in” button.
7. The applicant has to select the form from the menu list.
8. Enter all the details in the application form.
9. And upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
10. Pay the prescribed amount fee in online mode.
11. Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
12. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
13. Once the assessment is complete, the NMBA will make a decision regarding your temporary nursing registration.
14. If approved, you will be issued with a registration certificate indicating the specific conditions and limitations of your registration.
15. As a temporarily registered nurse in Australia, you must adhere to the conditions and limitations outlined in your registration.
16. This may include restrictions on practice areas, supervision requirements, or additional educational or competency requirements.
17. This entire process can be completed within 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Eligibility

The applicant can apply for a temporary nursing license in Australia if you meet the following requirements:
