Apply online:

  1. To Apply for Medicare Claims, the applicant has to make the application online via Service Australia on the official website given below Link
  2. If the applicant is a new user, click the “Create account”.
  3. Read the terms of use and click the “Next” button.
  4. Enter the email address and click the “Next” button.
  5. Enter the code which is sent to the email ID and click the “Next” button.
  6. Enter the mobile number and click the “Next” button.
  7. The applicant needs to create a password and click the “Next” button.
  8. The applicants have to click the “Sign-in” enter the user id and password and then click the “Sign-in” button.
  9. Select the service followed by selecting the Medicare claims from the list.
  10. The applicant has to enter all the details in the form.
  11. upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  12. The fee for a medicare claim is free of cost.
  13. After completing, the applicant has to click the “Submit” button.
  14. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  15. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  16. Once the process gets completed, the applicant will get the claim through the given bank account.
  17. The processing time for this procedure is complete within 28 days.


Apply through app:

  1. To Apply for Medicare Claims, the applicant has to make the application through the app via Service Australia on the following Link
  2. The applicant has to download the app from the following link.
  3. Sign in with the app and read the terms and conditions medicare mobile app.
  4. Create a PIN and log in with the ID.
  5. Select the service followed by selecting the Medicare claims from the list.
