Procedure

Apply In Person:

1. To Renew Aviation License, the applicant has to approach the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. The applicant has to complete the training as well.
7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
8. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
9. After receiving the document set, the concerned authority will check the submitted letter and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
11. CASA may conduct a compliance check to ensure ongoing adherence to aviation regulations and standards.
12. This may include reviewing the submitted documents, conducting audits, or requesting additional information if necessary.
13. If the application is approved and meets all the requirements, CASA will issue the aviation license.
14. Once the renewal application has been processed and approved, you will receive confirmation of the renewed aviation license.
15. This may be in the form of a new license certificate or an updated license document.
16. This entire process can be completed within 2 – 3 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
