Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Apply for Act Event Fund, the applicant has to approach Services Australia link

   NOTE: Enter the postcode and click the “Locate” button to find the nearest office.

2. The applicant has to visit the office with the return letter.
3. The proposal should provide a detailed description of the event, including the target audience, proposed activities, marketing plan, and budget.
4. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
5. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
6. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
8. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
9. There is no fee for Act Event Fund.
10. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
11. Then the application will be processed further and decide on whether to provide funding support for the event.
12. The applicant may be asked to provide additional information or to participate in an interview or presentation to further explain his/her proposal.
13. For further process, the applicant has to follow the instruction given by the officer.
14. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
