Assam - Raise request for Shifting Electric Transformer

This procedure explains various ways to raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer.
Apply In-Person:
- To apply In-Person, you should visit the allocated EB office for your location. You can find the office location and contact details on the “APDCL” website. Location and Contacts
- While applying In-Person, the consumer should obtain the application from the authorities in the office.
- You can also write the request letter mentioning the reasons for shifting the electric transformer.
- Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
- The request letter/Complaint form and the required documents should be submitted to the officials in the Electricity Board such as ASSISTANT ENGINEER (AE) or JUNIOR ENGINEER (JE).
- The authorities will go through the application form and provide an estimate of the amount to be paid to the Electricity Board.
- The estimated amount has to be paid in the Demand Draft (DD).
- After giving the form, they will provide you the Complaint Docket Number and the payment slip.
- You have to keep those details safe for future verification and reference purposes.
Apply through Online:
- You can raise a request for a shift of the electric transformer on the official APDCL website. link
- You have to select the “Register Complaint” option from the pop-up menu on the main webpage.
- You can also select the “Register Complaint by Bijulee Bandhu” under the “Quick Links” option.
- If you had already registered, you have to verify with your mobile number.
- If you are a new user, then you have to enter the following details while raising the complaint.
- Mobile Number
- First and Last Name
- District
- Village/Town/City
- Area
- Landmark
- Address
- Pin code
- Sub-division
- Complaint Type---> Select “Transformer(individual) Related”
- Complaint Details ---˃ Explain the reason for shifting the transformer in 400 words
- After entering the details, verify the complaint with the One Time Password.
- Finally, register the complaint by selecting the “Submit” option.
- Immediately you will receive your “Complaint Docket Number” in the pop-up menu.
- You have to save these details for future verification and reference purposes.
- You can track your complaint in the “Check Application Status” option under the “Quick Link” menu.
- You have to enter your registered mobile number and Complaint Docket Number to track your complaint status.
Apply through 24/7 portal:
To raise a request for the shifting of the electric transformer, you can request through the customer care service, which works 24/7-365 days.

Apply through Mobile App:
- You can raise a request for shifting the electric transformer through the “APDCL My Bijulee” Mobile App.
- After downloading the application, you have to log in with the Consumer Number and Password.
- If you are a new user, then you have to select the option “No Account yet? Create One” in the app. You have to sign-up using
- Consumer Id
- Name
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- Password
- Select the option “Create Account”.
- After creating the account, you have to log in using the Consumer Number and Password.
- From the given options, you have to select “Raise Compliant”.
- On the next page, you have to enter details such as
- Mobile Number
- First and Last Name
- District
- Village/Town/City
- Area
- Landmark
- Address
- Pin code
- Sub-division
- Complaint Type---> Select “Transformer(individual) Related”

- Recently paid electricity bill (Shouldn’t have any arrears)
- Any Ownership documents such as
- Sale deed
- Allotment, Possession letter
- Municipal Tax receipt
- Gift deed
- Will deed or any other valid document
- An indemnity bond drawn by the owner
- DD for the estimated shifting charges
- Proof of Identity of the applicant such as
- Ration card
- Election Identity Card
- PAN card
- Aadhar card
- Passport
- Driving license
- Any other document (mentioned by the authorities)

EligibilityEdit
To request a shift in the transformer, the eligibility criteria are:
- You should have the Consumer Number, and any valid Identity proof (Ex. Aadhar Card).
- You should be the resident or the owner of the land (leaser too) in the mentioned area for “shifting the electric transformer.”
FeesEdit
- The fee structure for the shifting of the electric transformer is given by the respective Electricity Board Officials after surveying the mentioned location.
- The consumer should bear the entire cost of shifting the transformer/pole.
- The evaluated fee should be paid in advance in the form of a Demand Draft to the “APDCL” Electricity Board.
