Assam - Online Change or Update Address or information in Driver License (DL)

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. Step 2 : To apply online for changing or updating your information or address on the driving license navigate to the link: Apply Online.

Step 3 : After visiting the website click on the “Online Services” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image and select the “Driving license Related Services” option which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 4 : Now select the state from the Drop down listbox which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 5 : Click “Driving License” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image and click on the “Services On DL (Renewal/Duplicate/AEDL/Others)” button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 6 : Read the following and click on the “Continue” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 7 : In the next page enter the Driving license number and Date of Birth and click the “Get DL Details” Option which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 8 : Fill all the required information and submit the required documents.

Step 9 : Refer to the “Required Information” section in this procedure to fill the required details.

Step 10 : Click on Proceed.

Step 11 : Please follow the screen instructions fill the application form and submit the required documents.

Step 12 : You will also get the appointment date for visiting RTO office to process the application.

Step 13 : Take printout of the application form including Acknowledgement form and go to RTO office before 11:30 a.m. and submit the application to the RTO official. Authorities will advice the fee amount to be paid. On the appropriate counter pay the fees and submit the application and documents to process the application
