Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Applicant must approach the revenue department authorities or thasildhar to apply in person.
2. Link for contact: Contact Link to know your circle office. Download the document and look for respective office contact.
3. Please go to the respective office. Obtain the relevant application form from the office authorities.
4. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
5. Submit the form along with the required documents to the authorities.
6. Now collect the acknowledgment slip from the authorities.
7. After the verification process, applicant shall receive the duplicate copy of income certificate.
   

Note: If the validity of your lost / damaged income certificate is going to expire in few days then you can apply for fresh income certificate by using the web copy or the acknowledgment slip of the lost / damaged income certificate.

Through CSC

1. Use the following link to find the centre. Link: CSC Centers
2. Please go to the respective office.
3. Application can be obtained from the authorities.
4. Submit the complete application along with required documents to the operator in the centre.
5. Operator will check the details and start to process online using the computer.
6. Applicant will get the transaction ID for the application made. Please keep it safe for future reference.
7. This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
8. Applicant will get notification about the status on his registered mobile number provided while applying.
9. Applicant has to go and meet the respective authorities with documents as instructed to get the duplicate Income certificate as per given date.

• Applicant whose income certificate is lost / damaged can apply for duplicate certificate.

• Never apply for fresh income certificate before the expiry of available income certificate. If you apply, your application will get rejected and you may face some difficulties later.
