Following are the ways through which you can apply for Scheduled Tribe (ST) caste certificate in Arunachal Pradesh.
Apply In-Person:
- To apply for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) caste certificate approach the Deputy Commissioner office of your district.

- Submit the form to the Deputy Commissioner office along with the required documents. Now click “about district” from that page and select “who’s who” to know about DC office location.
- Refer the Deputy Commissioner office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
- After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a verification regarding your proof which you have submitted along with the form.
- Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
- Use the acknowledgment slip to obtain Scheduled Tribe (ST) caste certificate from the concerned Deputy Commissioner office.

To apply for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) caste certificate in Arunachal Pradesh through online follow the procedure given below
- Visit the e-services portal by clicking the following link E-Services
- Login into the e-services portal by entering the valid email id and password.
- If you are a new user, then login by selecting “new user” option.
- After successful login, look for “apply for services” in the left side.
- Select “view all available services” option.
- Now you can see a list of services.
- Select “Application for issuing of Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificate” option.
- Click “Proceed to apply” option.
- Now the application form page will appear.
- Select office where the application has to process.
- Enter all mandatory details in the “applicant details” section.
- Enter all mandatory details in the “applicant address details” section.
- Fill the application details and select the “I agree” option as a declaration.
- Enter additional details and click “submit”.
- Upon submission, the applicant can see the filled application form to check the entered details.
- After verification, the applicant can download the application form by clicking “Export to pdf” option.
- Applicant can take a printout and submit it to the concerned authority.

- Verification document from GB/HGB and Admin Officer
- Attested copy of Land Allotment Passbook (Urban) of Father/ Guardian corresponding to Present Address (or) Attested copy of Land Possession Certificate (Rural) of Father/ Guardian corresponding to Present Address
- Passport-sized Coloured Photo
Optional:
- Attested Copy of Birth Certificate
- Attested copy of Father’s ST Certificate
- Attested Copy of Applicant’s Permanent Resident Certificate.
