Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for temporary residence certificate, applicant has to approach the Jansuvidha counter at the Deputy Commissioner office.
  2. Link for contact: link Select the respective district hyperlink for district portal. In the district portal please select “ABOUT DISTRICT > Who’s Who” OR “ABOUT DISTRICT > ADMINISTRATIVE SETUP > Wards and Panchayats” OR “DIRECTORY > PUBLICUTILITIES > Municipalities” as appropriate for the contact details.
  3. Go to the respective office.
  4. Collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
  5. Link to get application online : link
  6. Complete the application form. Attach the entire required documents as per our “required documents” section and submit it to the designated authority.
  7. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding your proof which you have submitted along with the form.
  8. Collect the acknowledgment slip for submitting the form. Keep it safe for future reference.
  9. Use acknowledgment slip to obtain certificate as per the department notification.

  1. Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
  2. In this page please click “Login” option at the right corner of the page for registration.
  3. In the given page click “Don’t have an account? Register HERE” option
  4. Complete the registration form and click “Validate” button
  5. Now enter the Email and SMS OTP in the appropriate textbox and click “Submit” button.
  6. In this page you can see the confirmation message about your registration process. Now go back to the login page to avail the service.
  7. Now enter your username and password in the textbox and click “Log In” button
  8. Now click “View all available services” option under “Apply for services” section on the left side of the page. Now type as “resident” in the search box and choose “Application For Temporary Resident Certificate” option
  9. Applicant will get the online form. Please complete the prompts as applicable.
  10. After completing filling of mandatory details upload required documents and finally click the check box for “I agree..” option and use the “Submit” button to submit your application.
  11. Upon submission, applicant will receive acknowledgement as the confirmation of submission.
  12. After verification, applicant can obtain the certificate from the concerned authority with the help of acknowledgement slip or the applicant can download the certificate from the portal.

  • Applicant with a valid residence certificate from other state can apply for temporary residence certificate in the state where they are working/doing business.
  • Applicant must be the citizen of India.

  • Temporary Residence Certificate (TRC) is issued to persons who have come from other states to the district for Business, govt. service, etc
  • Migrant workers/employees shall apply through the owner of the establishment or the person under whom the person is working.
