Procedure

Following are the ways through which you can apply for license to store and import petrol and diesel in Arunachal Pradesh.
Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for the license to store and import petrol and diesel in Arunachal Pradesh, approach the Deputy Commissioner office of your district.
2. Download the form- IX from the given link Application
3. Fill up the form- IX appended to petroleum rules 2002, where the application is made on behalf of the company, name and address of the company, name of the manager or the agent should be given and the application should be signed
4. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.

7. Refer the Deputy Commissioner Office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
8. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding your address proof which you have submitted along with the form, and some general investigations.
9. You will be receiving the acknowledgment slip after the successful verification.
10. A license for storing and importing petrol and diesel will be issued by the authority after verifying all the details submitted by the applicant.
11. Collect your license from the Deputy Commissioner office where you have applied after 2-3 weeks of submission.

To apply for the license to store and import petrol and diesel in Arunachal Pradesh through online follow the procedure given below

1. Click on the link Apply onlineto visit official website of petroleum and safety organization.
2. Enter the valid login id and password.
3. If you don’t have a login id create a new one by clicking “New user” in the portal.
4. After successful login, in the home page look for “new application” and select the appropriate license options.
5. Make sure that you are following the instructions that appear on that webpage.
6. Fill all the mandatory details.
7. Scan the form and submit it through the portal.
8. After submission, an acknowledgment message with a reference number will be generated.
9. Use that reference number to check the status of your application.
10. After verification, the applicant can obtain the grant of license to import and store petroleum from the concerned authority with the help of acknowledgement slip.

Following are the list of documents that has to be enclosed along with the application form to import and store petrol and diesel

• Photograph of proposed outlet (post card size -2 copies)
• Proof of Identity of the applicant such as Electoral Photo Identity Card (or) Passport (or) Local certificate (or) Family Identity Card
• NOC of the tenant if the business is intended to be carried out on the land/building of the tenant other than the applicant.
• Recent copy of the land record (Form-F) and map from where the business is intended to be carried out i.e. Sale/storage.
• Challan payable if approved – Rs. 260/-
