Following are the ways through which you can apply for local certificate in Arunachal Pradesh.

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for the local certificate approach the concerned tehsildar office.
  2. Application form can be obtained from tehsil office.
  3. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
  4. Submit the form to the tehsildar office along with the required documents. More details about the tehsildar office location is provided in the following link DISTRICTS OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH click on who’s who option in “About district” section to know about each district contacts.
  5. Refer the tehsildar office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
  6. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding your proof which you have submitted along with the form.
  7. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
  8. After 10 days, use the acknowledgment slip to obtain local certificate.

Apply through Centres

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
  5. Submit the application form with ”Required Documents” to the office.
  6. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  7. The operator will process the application online.
  8. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
  9. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
  10. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the proof of submitted documents along with the form.
  11. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
  12. After 10 days, visit and use the acknowledgment slip to obtain the local certificate.

The following documents must be attached with the form to apply for local certificate

  • Two recent passport size photo of the applicant
  • Duration certificate for ten years continuous education
  • Attested copy of parents local certificate.
  • Attested copy of Family Identity Card.
