Apply Online
- Visit the following UIDAI website: portal.
- Click on the “Aadhar enrolment form” link and download the Aadhar enrolment form.
- Upon downloading, take a printout of the form.
- Fill the form with required information.
- Visit the nearest Aadhar enrolment centre with the filled form and all the “Required documents” mentioned on this page.
- Submit the application form with “required documents” to the office.
- The applicant will have to undergo the biometric process.
- Once all the necessary process by the authorities is complete, the applicant will get an acknowledgement receipt.
- Collect the Aadhar card from the respective centre in a stipulated period of time or wait for it to arrive via post.
Through Enrolment Centres:
- Applicant has to locate an enrolment centre to apply. Online link for enrolment Centre link
- Enrolment Centres of Aadhaar in state : link Please locate Deputy commissioner (administration) for enrolment.
- With / without appointment, applicant has to physically go to the AADHAAR card enrolment centre with required documents.
- Submit the required documents to the authority in the centre.
- Authority will process the details online as per the documents provided (operator would check whether this data is already available through different application)
- Applicant will be asked to get biometric scanning for finger print followed by Iris scanning and then Photograph session to complete the requirement for processing.
- Upon completion of above steps, Applicant will be issued with an acknowledgement receipt for future reference and the request will be processed further.
Note:
- User can use the following link for “mAadhaar” App. : link useful to carry soft copy of aadhaar.
- Contact local bank branch to get the details of designated Bank branches for Aadhaar Enrolment in their area.
Apply through Mobile APP
- Click on the following link to download the UIDAI app link.
- Enter the mobile number to receive an OTP to proceed further.
- Once the OTP is verified, the applicant will be able to see various options available in the app.
- Click on the “Book an Appointment” tab on the bottom of the page.
- The applicant will be redirected to an appointment portal.
- Fill the details asked and receive an OTP on the provided number to proceed.
- Click on the “New Enrolment” option on the page.
- Fill the required details asked, then save and proceed.
- Submit the application using the submit button and the application will be submitted.
- An appointment ID will be visible on the screen.
- Visit the nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre with the appointment ID and all the “Required documents” mentioned on this page.
- Submit the application form with “Required Documents” to the office.
- The applicant will have to undergo the biometric process.
- Once all the necessary process by the authorities is complete, the applicant will get an acknowledgement receipt.
- Collect the Aadhaar card from the respective centre in a stipulated period of time or wait for it to arrive via post.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Aadhaar card is an initiative by the government to organize citizen.
- Unique Identification Authority of India, issues this card. It is a 12 digit identity contains combination of numbers and alphabets.
- Aadhaar card is mandatory in opening bank account.
- Aadhaar card is useful in most of the application for obtaining voter id, ration card, pan card, Land registration, Driving license, Vehicle registration and more.
- If in case your Aadhaar card is lost / damaged / misplaced, one has to apply for duplicate Aadhaar card
