Need for the DocumentEdit

  • An oceanography license in the United States is a credential that allows an individual to practice oceanography in a licensed state. Oceanographers study the physical, chemical, biological, and geological aspects of the oceans.
  • They use their knowledge to help solve a variety of important problems, such as climate change, ocean pollution, and coastal erosion.

Information which might helpEdit

  • Oceanography is a scientific field that involves the study of the ocean, its physical properties, marine life, and related phenomena. It does not typically involve professional licensing in the same way that some other professions, such as medicine or engineering, do.
  • However, there are certain roles or activities within oceanography that may require specific licenses, certifications, or qualifications, depending on the nature of the work.
