Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form is available in the U.S. Consulate or Embassy contact link. Passport form is available in Page 5.
2. Applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
3. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
4. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per fee section.
5. Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before providing an approval.
6. The passport will be provided will be provided within 12-18 weeks.
7. If the passport has not been provided within 12-18 weeks, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

2. Applicant must provide all information necessary for application procedure online.
3. Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
4. Finally, applicant has to click on “Submit” button.
5. Application Status can be check in the following link
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per fee section.
7. After application verification is completed from concerned authorities, passport will be shipping within 12-18 weeks through mail.
   

Apply by Mail

1. Application is available in the following link
2. The applicant has to fill-in the details in the form.
3. Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the passport size photographs.
4. Place signed form, passport size photo, previously issues passport, and fee for the procedure in an envelope.
5. Mail the envelope to the appropriate office.
