ProcedureEdit

  1. Before you start your online application, make sure you have all of the following:
    1. A valid email address: To be used by the Immigration Department to provide you with updates regarding your application, including a confirmation email for your approved visa.
    2. A valid travel document (e.g. passport): Your travel document must be valid for at least six (6) months AFTER your intended arrival date.
    3. A recent digital photograph : A mandatory valid file with an extension type of JPG or JPEG is required. The file must not exceed 512KB in size.
    4. Supporting documents (scanned): A valid file with an extension type of JPG, JPEG or PDF. A scanned passport plus 5 other different document types are required. No more than 10 uploads can be attached. Each file must not exceed 512KB in size.

  3. After the website opens, click the 'Apply Now' button.
  4. Provide details about your visa request and personal information.
  5. Upload your photo and supporting documents.
  6. Check the details you have provided again.
  7. Pay for your online visa application.
  8. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application and payment.
  9. An email will also be sent to you containing your EEV travel letter.
  10. Make sure to print a copy of all the documents sent to for your records.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Bio Page of a valid passport or travel document with valid transit or re-entry permit for any country for which you may be ticketed.
Passports must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of arrival in Antigua and Barbuda.)
  • Recent color passport photograph (45mm x 35mm); all photos are to be on a while back ground only, and not altered or edited from it’s original state.
  • Evidence of proposed journey into and out of Antigua and Barbuda i.e. ticket or confirmation of your booking from the travel agent.
  • Proof of accommodation for the length of your stay or a letter of invitation from your sponsor. Students, must provide the acceptance letter from your school, and the details of where they will be staying during their studies. Individuals traveling on business are to provide a letter from your employer stating the purpose of your trip.
  • Proof of funds to finance the trip i.e. bank statements for the previous two months.
  • A recent police record. (Discretion may be taken by the visa-issuing office.)
  • Birth certificate.
  • Immigration status in passport or residency permit. ( i,e Any other country, and or the state of Antigua & Barbuda.)
  • Supporting documents (scanned): A valid file with an extension type of JPG, JPEG or PDF. A scanned passport plus 5 other different document types are required. No more than 10 uploads can be attached. Each file must not exceed 512KB in size. Supporting documents may include:
    • Birth certificate
    • Letter of employment
    • Marriage certificate
    • Notarized letter
    • Passport
    • Police record
    • Proof of accommodation
    • Proof of funds
    • School acceptance letter
    • Travel itinerary


Take note:

  • All documentation must be clearly scanned, with the use of a scanner only.
  • All documentation must be scanned in full color and from the original documents only.
  • PHOTO COPIED DOCUMENTATION ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE, AND WILL BE REJECTED.

Any holder of a travel document that requires a visa to enter Antigua and Barbuda.

Countries Exempt from Visa

Citizens of countries which do not appear on the list, require a visa.

ValidityEdit

There's no need to enter Antigua and Barbuda on the exact dates as is specified on your application. The validity of your e-Visa begins from the approval or issued date specified in your application. You can enter Antigua and Barbuda on any date within this approved period.


Multiple entry e-visa last for one year.


NOTE: To all citizens of countries that DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA for entry into Antigua and Barbuda on holiday or business, are permitted to stay as long as their business takes, provided that:

  • The stay is no longer than six months.
  • They have an onward or return ticket.
  • They have confirmation of accommodation.
  • They can produce evidence of their ability to maintain themselves in Antigua and Barbuda and have valid passports.

InstructionsEdit

You can apply for an e-Visa any time before your travel. However, the Immigration Department advises all applicants to create an e-Visa application at least seven (7) working days before their departure date.

Expedited visa processing is available at an additional cost.
