Antigua and Barbuda - Apply for Minor Passport
ProcedureEdit
- Get a passport application form from the Official Website of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. You can also download the application form here: http://www.ab.gov.ag/article_details.php?id=2830&category=116.
- Fill in and complete the application form.
- Present and submit all the required documents stated below.
Required DocumentsEdit
- original full birth certificate (if citizen by descent original birth certificate of Antiguan or Barbudan parent)
- baptismal certificate (if the applicant is using the father's name and it does not appear on birth certificate)
- original marriage certificate, if applicable
- original passport
- 2 passport photographs
- a completed application form
- written consent form
- birth certificate of parents (if the applicant was born abroad of Antigua and Barbuda parents)
- marriage certificate of parents (if applicable)
- registration or naturalization certificate (if the applicant is a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda by registration or naturalization)
Note:
An apostille must be inscribed on documents not originating in Antigua and Barbuda.

Must be a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda, under the age of 16.
FeesEdit
- Passport for persons under 16 years (32 pages) - EC $50.00
- Emergency Passports for persons under 16 years (32 pages)- EC $200.00
ValidityEdit
The standard passport (both 32 and 64 pages) is valid for 10 years.

Processing TimeEdit
The standard passport takes three (3) weeks to process. An emergency passport can be processed within 24 hours.

InstructionsEdit
- There are different types of passport. The standard passport of 32 pages is adequate for most travelers. However a passport of 64 pages is available for adults who travel frequently and quickly fill the visa pages of a standard passport. An emergency passport can be processed within 24 hours.
- One of the applicant's parents or guardian should complete the Section 10 of the application form if you are 16 or 17 years old, unless you are married (when you should submit a marriage certificate).
- The applicant must be certified in Section 9 by any of the following persons, whether currently employed or retired: Member of Parliament, a Magistrate, Notary Public, Minister of Religion qualified under the law to perform marriages, Professional Engineer, Professional Accountant, Police Officer (Gazetted Rank), Bank Manager, Registered Medical Practitioner, Dentist, Permanent Secretary, Principal Assistant Secretary, Principal of a Primary or Secondary School, Head of Government Department, Barrister-at-Law, Solicitor or Attorney who has been personally acquainted with the applicant for no less than two (2) years and resident in Antigua and Barbuda.
