Angola - Apply for Environmental license

All projects whose activities involve the interests of the communities, interfere with the ecological balance and use natural resources to the detriment of third parties, must be subject to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), in which Public Consultations are mandatory.
Apply In-Person:
- Gather and prepare the required documents mentioned in required documents below
- Obtain the application forms the National Directorate for the Environment – DNA or Department of Environmental Licensing office through the addresses provided below or download the forms through this link:
- Attach the required document and go to the either one of the offices mentioned above to submit your application
- Your application will be verified to determine that you have submitted the correct documentation
- Once the verification process is completed, obtain the fees and bank details and pay for the application.
- A government inspector will be sent to do an assessment in your project and forward the results to the office for final processing.
- If the results much the standard requirements for the environment license, you application will be processed and you will be issued the License

- Open the link and select ‘REGISTAR’ to fill registration details
- Fill-in you email address and password and then click “REGISTAR”
- Go to your email account to verify your registration and access the portal
- Once logged in complete the application process as directed in the portal

- Description of activities to be carried out
- General description of the environmental situation of the place where the activity is located
- Summary of opinions and criticisms resulting from public consultations
- Description of possible environmental and social changes caused by the project
- Indication of measures planned to eliminate or minimize negative social and environmental effects
- Indication of the systems planned for the control and monitoring of the activity

- Non-governmental associative organizations duly legalized, natural or legal persons of Angolan nationality, whose programmatic content and social object is the defence of the environment, the rational use of natural resources and the protection of quality of life rights.
